Creators and Mentors

A Community of Musicians, Guided by Experience
At KALOS, we believe a successful music career grows through both self-development and connection — with peers, mentors, and the wider artistic community.
This page celebrates both: our Creators, young musicians shaping their careers with purpose, and our Mentors, experienced professionals sharing their knowledge to guide the next generation.

In the Spotlight

Each month, we feature a Creator who embodies the values of learning, sharing, and connecting. Their story reflects the shared journey of every musician striving to build a meaningful and fulfilling career in music.

This month’s spotlight features Poon Cheuk Yin Jason, who is a passionate and dedicated violinist and violist and hopes to bring his audience together by playing his own voice through music.
Jason’s playing is often described as diverse and flexible but mostly powerful. Through his multiple chamber performances and appearances, along with his eagerness to learn new pieces, he is able to work with different musicians smoothly and creates wonderful and pleasant phrases for the audience to easily feel, follow and understand.
Jason’s musical experience reflects a vast amount of hard work and dedication to the craft, and a strong sense of hopefulness to continue his musical journey with faith and confidence on constantly improving and doing his utmost best everyday, along with learning more with different peers, in masterclasses and most importantly, himself.
