樂動大地 社區共響
樂地 GroundMusic 計劃旨在將新晉古典音樂家的需求與未被充分利用的私人公共空間相結合，推動本地文化的發展。
該計劃由香港中文大學知識轉移基金支持，跨專業團隊將於 2024/2025 年間在不同地點策劃和組織 10 場音樂演出，將這些城市空間變為充滿活力的文化舞台。新晉古典音樂家可免費申請在這些場地進行演出。
入選的參加者將有機會創作並展示自己的演出，以及獲得活動策劃與組織的有關培訓。此外，每位參加者都會獲配對一位世界級音樂家或業界專家進行指導，提供寶貴的意見，助力其音樂事業的成功。
The GroundMusic Project is a unique initiative designed to achieve local cultural development goals by creating a platform that connects the needs of emerging musicians with the resources of privately owned public spaces.
Funded by the Knowledge Transfer Project Fund at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, a multidisciplinary team is curating and organizing 10 music performances at different spaces in 2024/2025. Emerging classical musicians who are eager to enter the professional world can apply to perform in these spaces at no cost.
Selected participants will have the opportunity to create and showcase their own shows while receiving essential training in event planning and organization. Additionally, each participant will be paired with a world-class musician or industry professional for mentorship, providing invaluable advice that can open doors to success in their musical careers.

Who can apply
If you are meeting any of the below criteria, you are welcome to submit your application.

Aspiring musicians between 16 and 30 years old

Tertiary students majoring/minoring in music
-
School orchestra / ensemble members
We encourage enrolling as an ensemble or a small team of soloists so that your team can put up a programme of your own for the performance.
If you would like to enrol as an individual (first round only), we will match you with musicians of similar interests and programming potentials for the performance.

Applying
Applying is simple but a crucial step for us to get to know you as well as matching you with the most suitable mentor for your GroundMusic journey. Here’s what we need from you:

A 3-10 minutes video recording of your performance, or your work if you’re a composer/ arranger
For the video recording, you might decide to submit individual recordings or recordings of your ensemble. We are looking to see your potential and creativity in the recordings, so don’t worry if your performance in the recording is not perfect. Be yourself and showcase your ability with confidence!
