Verena De Prato offers individual coaching for young aspiring musicians on KALOS, before getting her advice, what about getting to know more about her?

The Austrian soprano Verena De Prato studied singing in Vienna with the famous bass Otto Edelmann. Married to an Italian engineer and painter, she has lived in Italy for many years, working in the fields of music and visual arts. 

Verena is fluent in German, Italian and English. She also understands the challenges that singers and accompanists have when dealing with texts in a foreign language, the difficulty in perfecting pronunciation of the performing languages (mostly German and Italian) in order to refine their expressive interpretations.

Verena has collaborated for several years with the renowned German tenor Josef Protschka within his lessons and masterclasses as well as conductors. She is offering individual diction lessons for vocalists.
