Italian pianist Erika Crinó is very active as a chamber musician, soloist, adjudicator and music teacher. Several of her performances have been featured on CBC Radio both as a soloist and in chamber music settings (collaborating with percussionist Salvador Ferreras, clarinetist Francois Houle, pianist Brett Kingsbury, and soprano Vania Chan). As a chamber musician, she has recently collaborated with such artists as percussionist Beverley Johnston, flutist Susan Hoeppner, violist Rivka Golani.
Former small ensemble instructor at the University of Toronto, Erika is currently faculty at the Conservatory Morlacchi of Perugia (Italy).
Erika will be in Vienna to conduct master classes.
In this master class, participants will receive intensive and personalised guidance to develop their technical abilities and musicality. They will also have a deeper understanding of how to connect with the music and communicate their emotions to the audience as well.
