"Build Your Profesional Story" Workshop
KALOS Biography Workshop — Part of KALOS Signature Foundation Programme Musicpreneur LaunchPad
Service Description
Clarify who you are as an artist. Your biography is often the first introduction people have to you as a musician. But writing about yourself — especially when your career is evolving — can be surprisingly difficult. A strong professional biography is more than a list of performances, awards and qualifications. It should communicate who you are as an artist, what makes your work distinctive, and where your artistic journey is heading. This practical workshop helps you turn your experience and ideas into a clear, authentic and professional biography that you can use with confidence. What you’ll gain: During the workshop, you will: - identify the key elements of your artistic identity and experience; - understand how to structure an effective professional biography; - select and communicate the information that matters; - develop language that reflects your artistic direction; and - receive professional guidance and feedback on your biography. Your takeaway You will leave with a professionally reviewed biography that you can adapt for your website, applications, programmes, project proposals and other professional contexts. Who is it for? This workshop is suitable for students, emerging and established musicians who want to strengthen how they present themselves professionally — whether you are preparing applications, developing your profile, exploring a new direction or simply want to communicate your artistic identity more clearly. You don’t need to have a fully developed career plan. This workshop can be a valuable first step towards understanding and articulating your direction. Part of the Musicpreneur Launchpad Build Your Professional Biography is one of two workshops within the KALOS Musicpreneur Launchpad — a practical starting point for musicians who want to turn their artistic ideas and ambitions into a clearer professional direction. The second workshop, Build Your Artistic Plan, focuses on developing your ideas into a structured plan for action. You can take either workshop as a standalone starting point, depending on what you need right now.
