KALOS Sponsorship Application Guidelines

For Individuals

Purpose

The KALOS Sponsorship Scheme supports members pursuing a specific music-related programme or opportunity, such as a performance, masterclass, workshop or course. Applicants should explain how the opportunity will develop their artistic practice, professional skills or future work in music.

Who can apply

You must be a KALOS member when you submit your application. Individual membership is free at www.kaloscareer.com. A paid KALOS Creator subscription is not required under these proposed guidelines.

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should provide their contact details and consent.

You may apply if you have requested or received support elsewhere, but you must disclose it. Priority will be given to members with financial needs that cannot reasonably be met through other sources.

What to include

Details of the programme: organizer, dates, location, website where available, and a description of what you will do.

The full cost, the amount requested from KALOS, what that amount would pay for, and any other funding already secured or applied for. Use USD, as specified in the current form, and make your figures consistent.

Why this opportunity matters to you, what you expect to gain, and how you could share your learning or contribute to the KALOS community afterward.

At least one supporting document, as required by the form. A programme notice, invitation, fee quotation or cost breakdown is especially useful; a CV, biography, certificate or reference can provide additional context.

How applications will be considered

KALOS will consider the opportunity’s relevance and value, the clarity and feasibility of the proposed use of sponsorship, the applicant’s financial circumstances and access to other funding, and the potential benefit to the wider KALOS community. Financial need that cannot be met elsewhere receives priority. Submission does not guarantee sponsorship, and KALOS may request clarification or supporting evidence before making a decision.

Privacy and accuracy

Provide accurate information and only documents needed to assess the request. If you describe sensitive financial circumstances, explain the funding gap rather than uploading detailed personal financial records unless KALOS specifically requests them through a secure process. Tell KALOS if the programme, costs or other funding change after submission.
