Gloria Chan (Vocal)

I started my classical music journey when I was 4 years old, specializing in vocal analysis. My interest in music deepened during my studies, prompting me to challenge myself by taking exams. As a result, I have obtained various internationally recognized certificates, such as ABRSM Vocal Grade 8 (Distinction), ABRSM Piano Grade 8, and ROCKSCHOOL Vocal Grade 3.

In 2017, I won first place in solo singing at the 69th Hong Kong School Music Festival, which significantly boosted my sense of achievement and validation in music. This success motivated me to continue learning and performing.

In terms of performance experience, I have been involved in musical performances since I was 5 years old. In 2016 and 2017 , I played the lead role in musicals and had solo experiences at the North Point Methodist Children's Choir. Later, I performed as a chorus member at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA). I began learning pop music in 2021 at Starry World Music Academy, where I had the opportunity to perform at Ocean Park and AIA.

I embarked on my jazz journey in 2022 by self-studying and analyzing jazz singing. This led to my first jazz gigs in 2023 Dec, I performed at various restaurants, including Red Idea Cafe, Cheek to Cheek Soho, and Lumo Restaurant and Bar.

Additionally, I am currently a member of the Opera Hong Kong choir and will join the opera performance of "Turandot" in October 2024. And studying music in HKBU. This is a very important milestone for me, marking a key moment in my musical journey, as well as a rare opportunity for learning and performance that allows me to further enhance my musical skills and enrich my performance experience.
