Yee Lam Ng (Music Therapist)

After graduating from the Department of Music at the CUHK, Yee Lam pursued a Master’s degree in Music Therapy at Anglia Ruskin University, UK. Upon qualifying as a Registered Music Therapist, she returned to Hong Kong and founded ‘JOU Music’ in the same year.

To date, Yee Lam has collaborated with or provided music therapy and educational services to more than 100 organisations, including kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, tertiary institutions, charitable organizations, social welfare agencies, commercial corporations, and individuals.

Currently, Yee Lam is coordinating 'Artswalkers community cancer support programme', which supports the mental well-being of cancer patients, caregivers, and survivors through music therapy and arts-based activities. Starting from the 2024-25 academic year, she also serves as a supervisor for the internship program of the Faculty of Social Sciences, HKU.
