Joy Chau (Oboe)

Chau Yat Yuet Joy is currently two years into a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Majoring in the oboe under Mr. Victor Tam, Joy has performed with a variety of renowned orchestras in Hong Kong, including the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra, Ponte Orchestra, CUHK’s Chung Chi Orchestra and Chung Chi Wind Orchestra as both an oboe and English horn player. She has received guidance from renowned oboist Mr. Nicholas Daniel and has also previously studied the piano under the tutelage of Dr. Mary Wu. Aside from a background in classical music, Joy enjoys jazz, graphic design and art in her spare time.
