KALOS Launches Creator Spotlight Webinar Series

At KALOS, we've always believed that every creator has a unique story, perspective, and experience worth sharing.

Since launching our monthly Expert Insight Webinar series, we've invited industry experts to equip young musicians with practical knowledge and professional insights. As our community continues to grow, we're excited to take the next step by creating a new platform where our own Creators can inspire others through their lived experiences.

We're delighted to introduce the Creator Spotlight Webinar Series.

This new series celebrates the diversity of our creator community, giving KALOS Creators the opportunity to share their projects, ideas, creative journeys, and the lessons they've learned along the way. We hope these conversations will encourage meaningful exchange, spark new collaborations, and demonstrate that there is no single path to building a fulfilling creative career.

We're honoured that Chan Kai Pong, Aki will be the first featured Independent Creator in the series.

A community music producer, creative entrepreneur, and founder of multiple social and cultural initiatives, Aki has built a career by continually exploring new possibilities for music beyond the concert stage. His work spans community music, education, theatre, storytelling, cultural preservation, and social impact, showing how creativity can connect people, strengthen communities, and bring diverse voices together.

Aki's first two Creator Spotlight Webinars will explore how music can become a powerful tool for inclusion, community building, and cultural connection:

• 21 August – When Music Meets SEN: From Service to Inclusion <當音樂遇上 SEN：從服務到共融的實踐>

• 18 September – Connecting Communities Through Music: Let Every Story Be Heard <用音樂連結社群，讓每個故事被聽見>

While these sessions will be conducted in Cantonese, the ideas behind them reflect a shared belief across the KALOS community — that music has the power not only to inspire artistic excellence, but also to create connection, foster understanding, and make a positive impact on society.
