Sai Kit Wong (Piano)

WONG Sai Kit is a year 4 student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Hon) in Music at HKBU. In 2020, Wong, who originally had never thought of further study in music, met Mr Cheung Ping by fate and started his music career under his inspiration. Currently, he majors in piano under the guidance of Dr Lee Yung Yung and Mr Cheung Ping.

As a latecomer in the field, Wong made a great effort to improve his skills. Although he seldom participated in competitions and yet was unlikely to perceive himself as a musician, he is still considered to have great potential for development; meanwhile, he gained tremendous support from his friends and lecturers. At his friend's invitation, he participated in the Piano Competition for Elite Performance in 2022 at Senior Duet Class and was lucky enough to earn the first prize.

Wong is currently a member of Cantoría Hong Kong. He sings mainly in the Bass section and has participated in various performances and recordings. Wong also became one of the piano accompanists of Cantoría and performed Brahms Liebeslieder Waltzes in "Colla Voce 2024" under the choir conductor Dr LAW Po-Kwan's invitation.
