The LSC Pathway and Arts Plan

At the heart of every KALOS programme is our Learn•Showcase•Connect (LSC) Pathway — a practical framework for musicians to develop artistic identity, build entrepreneurial skills, and gain real-world experience.

LEARN

Master business fundamentals from arts planning and financial literacy to project management, marketing strategy, and revenue diversification across progressive phases.

SHOWCASE

Develop compelling presentation skills, create professional portfolios, and learn to pitch confidently to any audience, from grant applications to partnership proposals.

CONNECT

Build meaningful industry relationships, develop collaboration skills, and access global opportunities through our extensive network.

The Personal Arts Plan is the strategic foundation connecting all pathways. This isn't just another career planning exercise - it's a dynamic, living document that connects artistic vision with practical business strategy, helping participants identify opportunities, make strategic decisions, and communicate value to collaborators, funders, and audiences.

Past Collaborative Project: Ground Music 樂地

Bringing music out of the concert hall and into the heart of the city.

Ground Music is a large-scale public art and performance project in Hong Kong that reimagined how classical music could live and breathe within everyday spaces.
Launched in 2025 with the support of The Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Knowledge Transfer Project Fund, the initiative presents a series of live performances across public spaces, blending music, architecture, and cultural storytelling.

As a collaborative partner, KALOS contributed to artist engagement, performance curation, and programme coordination — offering young musicians valuable experience in presenting their artistry to new audiences beyond traditional venues.

Ground Music represents KALOS’s vision in action: empowering the next generation of musicians to connect with communities, innovate through collaboration, and make classical music part of modern life.
